The historic Thomas Carr House is a California Bungalow-style home built in 1910. It features shingled gables, a large, symmetrical front porch and unique leaded glass windows with a Mormon Cricket motif. The interior of the home features original craftsman-style woodwork, oak floors and a distinctive clawfoot tub. Io originally consulted on the restoration of the home in 2008, when it was converted back into a home after having been used as an office building for nearly 30 years. Subsequent to the original renovation, Io also designed a craftsman-inspired, low-water landscape and kids bike track in the backyard and recently completed a color consultation on a new paint scheme for the home.
