We are based in Ogden, Utah – but we work throughout northern Utah including Weber and Box-Elder Counties, Brigham City, Eden, Huntsville, the Greater Salt Lake City. We’ve worked on project ranging from historic homes in Ogden’s historic Districts and the Avenues in Salt Lake City. We’ve also worked on modern custom homes at Powder Mountain and in Park City. Yes! Whether you are just in the early stages of your project and not quite ready to build yet, or if you have a contractor that you already know and trust, we are happy to provide you with project planning, design, and permitting/construction drawings for your project.

Yes! As a licensed general contractor we can bid on and build projects designed by others. Just send us a copy of your plans, and let’s set up a call to discuss your project and how we can work together.

Yes! In addition to owning and restoring our own projects, we have a good relationship with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), we understand the nuances of the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation, and have worked with local Landmarks and Historic Preservation Commissions to approve projects. We’ve completed multiple successful national register nominations, have written local historic district guidelines, and we have a team of trusted advisors.

Our project planning service is a good way to evaluate your project and budget before diving into design and construction. We will work with you to understand your goals, and help you align your wish-list with a realistic budget. Of course it’s important to always reserve a healthy contingency (we recommend 20%) of your project budget, because especially if you are working on a historic building or renovation, unexpected things are almost inevitable.

We get it, you love history and historic homes, but you don’t want to live in a museum. We have experiences and creative ideas for ways to adapt historic homes to maximize their livability for modern day families, without compromising their historic integrity.

Our process starts with our project planning service. is a good way to evaluate your project and budget before diving into design and construction. We will work with you to understand your goals, and help you align your wish-list with a realistic budget. Once you are clear on your budget, we work with you to design to your budget, before moving into the construction phase.

Our design team has specifically with Ogden City including their community and economic development department for nearly 20-years, our work has been ongoing and transformational in Ogden’s revitalization. Our approach goes beyond looking at individual projects, to understanding the larger scale and longer terms goals for a community, this allows us to make recommendations for targeted interventions and specific projects that will have the biggest impact.
